If you have time or budget restrictions to consider & have no particular sights in mind, you can still achieve a basic round trip including the most inspiring experiences Iran has to offer.

You will visit some of the greatest mosques & palaces, experience the bustle of the bazaars and enjoy the quiet contemplation of Persian gardens and the imposing desert ruins of Persepolis on route.

Visit the magnificent city of Isfahan – the most celebrated sight in Iran, Shiraz, city of roses & nightingales and Persepolis, originally founded by the great Achaemenian king Darius I in 522 BC.

Day 1
Depart London Heathrow Terminal 5 on British Airways at 21.10
Day 2
Arrive Tehran 05.25 am.  Transfer to hotel for brief morning rest. Then visit Golestan Palace one of the royal family and court’s former residences. Lunch at a traditional teahouse. On to either the Crown Jewels or the Carpet & Archaeological museums. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 3
Morning flight to Shiraz. Half-day tour to visit Narenjestan Palace, Nasirol Molik Mosque and Eram Gardens. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 4
Excursion to the wind swept ruins of Persepolis & Naghsh-e-Rostam, the tomb of the three powerful Achaemenian Kings carved into huge rocks. After lunch drive back to Shiraz. Visit the tomb of the Persian mystic poet Hafez.  Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 5
Shiraz Isfahan
Early morning drive to Isfahan.  After lunch tour of Isfahan’s Royal square with its magnificent buildings; some of the greatest examples of Islamic architecture, including the Royal (Imam) Square, the Shah & Sheikh Lotf-Allah Mosques & Ali-Qapu Palace. On to the Bazaar spanning 5 kilometers.
Day 6
Full day tour of Isfahan. Visit Chehel Sotun (Forty Columns) and Hasht Behesht (Eighth Heaven) Palaces. On to Jolfa, Armenian quarters of the city, to see Vank Cathedral & the Shaking Minarets. In the evening visit a Zoorkhaneh (House of Strength) to watch this traditional Iranian sport; a combination of physical and spiritual aerobics, with participants chanting to the powerful drums of their master. Evening visit to the beautiful Si-o-Se & Khaju bridges. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 7
Isfahan Kashan
Free time to shop or explore the city. Afternoon drive to Kashan.  Overnight in Kashan.
Day 8
In Kashan visit the beautiful Fin Garden, the old houses of Borujerdi (Samovar merchant) and Tabatabaei (carpet merchant). Take a walk through the old part of town. After lunch drive to Tehran. Visit the Carpet Museum. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 9
Tehran London
Depart Tehran on British Airways 07.35 arrival London 11.10

The cost of the tour includes:

Obtaining visa permit, accommodation in 5 * or best available (3* or 4*) hotels in twin bedded rooms with private facilities, half board throughout (breakfast and dinner every day), sightseeing visits & all entrance fees as per the itinerary, English speaking national guide throughout the trip, all airport transfers and land transport (air-conditioned bus at all times).
